Job Description : GM FOOD MANUFACTURING AUSTRALIA $150,000 - $165,000 + super Experience in food manufacturing Autonomous role with large amount of scope as company continues to expand This Australian owned and operated food manufacturing business has experienced mega growth over the last three years. Their environment is fast paced and exciting; as such they need a dynamic individual who copes well with change, constantly works to improve their own and team performance and brings something positive to the leadership table. Assume overall responsibility for the day to day operations of the business including leading the sales function, overseeing the Operations, Logistics, Customer Service, Finance and New Production Development functions Working efficiently and effectively in the delivery of strategies, goals and service levels; Manage and grow as required the existing team, including further developing the sales team to grow in home markets, interstate and internationally Executing business strategies and promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement; establishing and managing relationships with suppliers and customers to identify new partners and clients with customer experience and satisfaction at front of mind; Establishing, reviewing, and maintaining strong systems and processes across the business This is a hands on role within a growing small business and requires a hands-on leader No less than 20 years experience out of which 3 years experience as a General Manager within the food manufacturing industry in Australia. You will have the ability to drive a supportive and collaborative working environment to deliver great management. As General Manager, you will work in tandem with an established leadership team to maximise results as well as lead and champion operational excellence via a strong continuous improvement culture. We are looking for someone that is comfortable working in an agile, fast paced and changing environment and can bring structure, best practice and process to the team.
