Chief Financial Officer

Job Description : CFO AUSTRALIA A fast growing ASX listed firm is currently hiring for a Chief Financial Officer to join their executive leadership team. The organisation is experiencing strong growth and is already profitable. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of the company as well as driving the performance of the business. The successful candidate will ideally have experience across capital raising, governance, strategy and financial planning & analysis as well as strong leadership capabilities. Experience working within a Services, Technology or SaaS business is highly desirable • Providing Leadership, direction and management of finance and accounting team • Driving operational and process improvements, removing current inefficiencies • Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive management team • Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting • Advising on long-term business and financial planning • Establishing and developing relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders • Management of finance team, including external accountants and bookkeeper. • Outsourcing non-core elements of finance, strategically the objective is to have a small high skill team with outsourced services for lower value activities • Timely ASX and Management reporting • Must be willing to be hands on • High EQ as culture alignment is critical • Experience senior Finance role, preferably CFO role • Experience in working with Auditors and external financial advisors • Advanced knowledge of excel • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with business operations • Highly Desirable: ASX CFO Experience • Highly Desirable : Experience in implementing new finance systems, RPA • Highly Desirable : Experience in setting up a hybrid on/offshore finance team
