Job Description : Plant Head” for reputed Manufacturing OEM. This position is based out of Kolkata. The incumbent will be responsible for heading the Plant Operations. Company is offering attractive compensation package and promising career growth plan. Facility with 1000 + manpower that includes Stamping, Die-casting, Tubular, sheet metal, Plating, Paint shop, Tool Room, NPD, Assembly & packing with relevant ancillaries and current plant turnover of 35 million PA. Job Role:- *Direct and manage entire gamut of plant operations with overall responsibilities for production, maintenance, quality and other production-related activities includes NPD. *Coordinate plant activities through planning with departments’ managers to insure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner. *Develop and control profits, plans and budget. * Implement cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, manpower, wages and salaries. * Provide leadership and training for relevant staff to accomplish the company goals and objectives. * Manage all employees, and being responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that plant. * Regular interaction with Clients to understand and ascertain their requirements, for NPD, Quality and to secure order base. Qualification: * Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field. *20+ years of progressive manufacturing experience is a MUST * In-depth knowledge of manufacturing operations, project planning, cost control and program management. *Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to influence others and interact effectively with all levels of the organization. *Experience in handling project/plant expansion preferred.
