Operations Director

Job Description : Operations Director ( Precious Metals / Mining / Expat ) – Saudi Arabia listed Mid-Tier Mining Company. We are currently looking for experience Mining Professionals for the position of Operations Director to join the team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate swill manage the UG and OC Mines, Process Plants, and Maintenance operations to ensure that production plan is achieved. · Ensures the highest level of safety, health and environmental work standards are maintained. · Set overarching KPIs for the individual operations departments and support strategic planning in collecting and analyzing data. · Ensure the production targets and grade levels are according to the standards of the Company through close monitoring and process optimization of Underground Mine, Open Pit Mines, and Process Plants. · Ensure efficient maintenance operations of the Mill Plants and UG Mobile Equipment and monitor the overall performance. · Ensure periodic maintenance of the critical assets while maintaining production downtime at a minimum. · Identify, review, and assess continuous improvement initiatives to optimize and increase the efficiency of the operations. · Conduct technical feasibility of new major projects and assist the projects department in establishing key technical criteria and requirements. · Support the finance department in conducting financial feasibility of technical projects where required. · Support the CEO in setting the overall strategy of for the company ensuring that operations are aligned with the corporate objectives. · Support the finance department in conducting financial feasibility of technical projects where required. · University degree in Mining, Metallurgy, Geology, or any other related engineering discipline. · Masters’ Degree and certification, an advantage. · 15+ years of experience in Mining or similar industrial environment · 5+ years was in a Senior Managerial level position. · Strong leadership skills. · Strong organizational and planning abilities · Excellent English communication skills · FIFO (4/1 rotation) or longer if preferred · Competitive USD Net package per annum · Short term incentives (Performance Bonus) and long-term incentives (Shares) · Accommodation, Food and Company Car Provided · Full medical coverage
