Regional Supply Chain Manager

Job Description : Regional Supply Chain Manager UAE to look after their supply chain & distribution operations across the MEA Region. This person will also lead the strategic direction and oversee the smooth running of the logistics, warehousing, day-to-day operations and procurement, via multiple company locations whilst ensuring customer retention and satisfaction. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Direct and supervise the end-to-end supply chain process, including all planning (supply, demand, S&OP, etc), procurement, fleet, logistics and warehousing, distribution and fulfillment Engage and maintain close business relationships and professional communication across all stakeholders including external/internal partners, suppliers, service providers and customers Create and execute business goals for the supply chain by leveraging on lean operational tools to minimize waste, decrease cost, improve floor space utilisation and operational efficiencies Manage key stakeholders’ expectations throughout the life-cycle of the business and consistently communicate the key metrics including budget, production and financial performance metrics for the operations Anticipate changes in cost, availability, and suitability of products to develop strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations Act as the main point of contact in Customer Service for all distribution partners in the region and ensure client/customer satisfaction. KEY INGREDIENTS Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Commerce, etc with specialized qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a relevant field Minimum of 5 years in a Supply Chain Management function handling multiple regions in the Middle East or African markets Background and exposure to customer relationship management with experience in the management of both process and behavioral change Knowledgeable and experienced in managing overall supply chain operations (eg: customer order handling, distribution, logistics, procurement, etc.) Strong commercial acumen to understand implications of Supply Chain Planning, Procurement, Warehousing, Fleet Management and Distribution Working knowledge of ERP Systems and basic MS Office operations.
