Head of Strategy

Job Description : HEAD OF STRATEGY INDONESIA rapidly growing start-up company with a focus on digitalising the automotive industry. In this role, you will work directly with the CEO and collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop, lead and execute the strategic agenda. Assess the Company’s overall goal and identify and analyse growth and improvement opportunities (both commercial and operations) within the company Conduct research and develop insights on industry trends and competitive landscape, and drive the company’s strategic decision making Collaborate with the Country CEO and HODs, and counterparts at HQ, develop corporate plan and its derivatives (key strategic priorities and actionable items) Prepare deliverables for key weekly and monthly wholesale and retail management meetings by collaborating with relevant HODs. Deliverables-related matters including ownership of format and conducting sanity-check of data and insights, as well as distribution of minutes post-meeting Close collaboration with Data/BI team to ensure proper monitoring and presentation of key business metrics Collaborate with the Country CEO & HODs and counterparts at HQ to establish KPIs, OKR and incentive structure that are aligned with company goals Regular brainstorming sessions with Country CEO, HODs and other key members at the HQ leadership team on strategy, growth opportunities and process improvements Coordinate with the Country CEO & HODs and counterparts at HQ on the implementation of product and tech-driven initiatives to company’s wholesale and retail businesses (website, auction platform, dealer app, inspection app, etc.) Coordinate the on-the-ground execution of key strategic initiatives and track the outcome and identify support needed from counterparts at HQ Work with the Country CEO and HODs on planning and implementing of one-off strategic projects To succeed in this Head of Strategy role, you will need to prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities and maintain profitability while achieving targets including expansion activities. At least 15 years of working experience in a corporate strategy position within a fast-paced and dynamic business environment Experience of working with and reporting to Senior Management and Board of Directors At least two years' working experience at a top-tier consulting company is preferred Excellent presentation and communication skills for the delivery of regular reports for the business’s leadership, which must be easily digestible, unambiguous, engaging, informative and convincing Demonstrate ability to perform standard analyses such as performance analyses, competitive analyses, market analyses, etc. Evidence of success in a result-driven environment
