Purchase and Logistics Manager

Job Description : Purchase & Logistics Manager (Auto Spare Parts Exp) UAE 10-15 Years experience Duties & Responsibilities: Process orders received from overseas customers (Issue PO to supplier, SO to customer) Follow for the LC / Payment as per agreed terms (PO) Follow suppliers for the readiness / dispatch of material /Responsible for timely procurement for goods and services. Negotiate prices with logistic companies/shipping companies and freight forwarders to ensure availing the best market rate. Responsible for making shipment arrangements for inbound and outbound. Responsible for documentation requirement of import and export of materials (Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin etc) Ensure receipt of invoice from the vendors and forwarders & forward the same to accounts department for payment process Tracking and monitoring shipments to ensure on time delivery. Negotiate with Vendors on purchasing (in terms of best price & delivery) -in absence of responsible person. Maintain complete updated purchasing records/data in the system. Update stakeholders on the status of their shipments in transit Develop reports on cargo movements and various operational logistics issues. Update Retail & Stock Statement report of overseas clients on weekly & Monthly basis Preparing various reports on weekly / monthly basis related to Finance & Export data Research potential vendors, compare & evaluate offers, negotiating price & terms (payment, delivery time, warranty etc.) Ensure purchase is cost efficient, correct & high quality , follow timely delivery , physical inspection where required. Skills Requirements: Effective communication, including writing, speaking and interpersonal communication Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Excellent customer service and client relations skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Advanced data analysis and data visualization Expert inventory management Knowledge of safety standards, regulations, laws, and policies regarding logistics Understanding of the supply chain, including common obstacles and effective solutions Qualifications : Diploma in Automobile , experience in Commercial vehicle parts is added advantage.
