Job Description : Chief Financial Officer Finance Location Gabon, Africa Reporting CEO Gabon, Africa Job Role · To provide leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and longterm strategic financial objectives · Review and strengthen the finance and accounts team · Drive the companys financial planning, budgeting and forecasting · Responsible for the overall finance function of the company including Governance & Compliance · Liaison with Government and other financial authorities · Control and evaluate the organizations fundraising plans and capital structure · Treasury management · Responsible for internal audit systems, controls and process · Logistics overview · Compliance with banking regulations · Manage vendor relationships · Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports · Set up and oversee the company’s finance IT system · Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies · Deliver close change management to the company and advice from a commercial and strategic direction as to where the company needs to be focusing · Responsible for identification and implementation of new systems and operating procedures · Responsible for all inventory systems including the accuracy of the annual physical inventory · Recommend and jointly approve the price of all revenue generating activities in order to ensure gross margins and overall profitability are maintained · Accurate and timely MIS Reporting as requested by management Education & Experience · Chartered Accountant · Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial reporting standards · Should have managed a similar role · 20 - 25 years of experience of professional finance management · Knowledge of SAP implementation Skills · Financial Acumen · Leadership Management skills · Decision Making · Risk Management , Time Management and Multitasking skills · Analytical skills · Ability to Strategize · Strong communication / Presentation skills · Team Management · Relationship Management with stakeholders · Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
