Chief Financial Officer

Job Description : CFO MALAYSIA An exciting CFO and Head of Investor Relations job has just made available with one the growing omnichannel marketing companies in SEA. The CFO will be based out of the regional office in Malaysia to further accelerate the company growth and be part of shaping different potential paths of taking the company public. Together with the CEO and other parts of the operations, develop and recommend to the board an annual financial budget and business plan in line with the group’s long term strategic direction Coordinate the preparation of the group’s financial statements and management discussion and analysis (annual and interim) Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and take steps to enhance, where necessary, the internal control systems within the group. Keep the Board aware of the financial position and financial development of the group Develop appropriate key performance indicators to monitor and drive the financial performance of the group Establish and maintain lines of communications with the investor community and oversee the dissemination of the group’s press releases, annual report, communications with analysts and the media and investor relations Oversee and monitor the group’s financial position, banking and financing activities and capital structure and monitor the respect of banking and financial covenants and hedging arrangements, as applicable Oversee, lead and manage end-to-end M&A and fundraising process To succeed in the CFO and Head of Investor Relations job, you will need to have the Understanding of retail business or dealership business models and margin structures. At least 10 years of relevant experience in accounting and corporate finance Professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/CIMA/ICAEW/MICPA) with CFA is an advantage Well-versed within IFRS accounting standard Previous experience from within a publicly listed company or being integral part of an IPO process Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, able to craft compelling proposals Ability to communicate in Mandarin, verbal or written, is an added advantage Strong analytical, excel and problem-solving skills, able to structure problems in excel models and processes Collaborative team player, culturally sensitive, fun-loving, driven and results-oriented
