Project Engineer

Job Description : PROJECT ENGINEER NIGERIA Project Engineers (Mechanical Background) for LNG Plant Greenfield projects in Nigeria, Lagos location. Experience 10-15 years in LNG Plant, project FEED, Pre FEED, evaluation, Project design, reporting, detail engineering, modelling activity of the LNG plant , Diagrams reading & executing. Responsibilities include leading Project Engineering support for proposals and projects, assisting with the development of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), hydraulic analysis, equipment, and line specifications, preparing and evaluating bid packages, and interacting with engineering · Participate in or lead Regional Plant Design discipline efforts in the preparation of technical deliverables in collaboration with the LNG Engineering team and external parties · Perform detailed design calculations such as process line sizing, piping and manual valve specification, safety relief valve sizing, pressure drop calculations, pipe stress analysis and dispersion analysis · Develop specifications relative to plant construction and miscellaneous engineering requirements · Obtain familiarity with project scope, specifications, and design criteria upon assignment to a project team · Coordinate information from team members of other disciplines / groups to ensure smooth flow of vital information necessary for completion of scheduled milestones · Produce designs with efficient use of construction materials with an overall emphasis on ease of construction and safety assurance · Review fabrication drawings and other construction submittals for conformance to engineering direction, specifications and makes design recommendations · Prioritize work and prepare engineering plans that accurately convey work sequence, priority, and resource requirements · Provide LNG with health, safety, and environmental support · Perform all other duties as assigned Roles and Responsibilities
