15 yearsJob Description : HEAD OF BUSINESS TECHNOLOGY OMAN 15 Years of experience as Head of Business Technology, Director or similar leadership role. Job Brief The candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising Enterprise software Applications, Operational systems and Integration implemented in the group. He will also be responsible for selection and implementing new software applications, managing Software projects and Application Integration. Candidate will be reporting to Group CDTO. Education and Experience • A Bachelors degree in Information Systems. Master’s degree in IT Operations Management or equivalent. • Candidate must have 15 Years or more experience in relevant position. Proven experience as Head of Operations, Operations Director or similar leadership role. • The candidate must have vast experience of managing business technologies and IT operations for large conglomerates and business groups. • Professional certifications in Enterprise Solutions, Project Mgmt, Programs and Portfolio Control, Product Lifecycle Management, IT Strategy and Roadmap development will be added advantage. Candidate should be well aware of Country’s IT Regulations. Responsibilities Strategy development and planning Lead the Digital team to continue the planning, development and implementation of an updated Group technology roadmap, including timely decommissioning of our legacy systems and the creation and transition to a sustainable architecture, based on best practice and matching business requirements. Own the planning and prioritizing of resources across the Technology teams to ensure an effective balance between our tech transformation, our project delivery and ongoing maintenance and support of our platforms and services Work collaboratively with the digital team (and partners), where relevant, at all levels across the organization to ensure that our digital and technology services and products are customer-led, cost-effective, scalable, easy to use and meet current and future needs. Continue upgrading, enhancing, supporting current ERP and other Enterprise Solutions for CRM, Procurement, Vendor Mgmt., HCM, e-DMS, SCM, MDM and others as per business requirements. Ensure timely and managed transitions away from legacy platforms to new roadmaps as coined, before they become an impediment to progress. Further develop our capability, processes and team structures in managing change, agile software development and rapid deployment, data management and service management.
