10 yearsJob Description : SALES DIRECTOR MALAYSIA An exciting Sales Director job based in Penang has opened up at a global leading electronics cleaning organisation. This is a regional role covering South Asia. Focused on innovation, the company is provides the best cleaning solution and services, while developing the highest quality products to achieve a world-class cleaning support to their clients. The company has their own technical centres and expert engineering team to offer a wide variety of support to ensure seamless transitions. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will lead a group of regional sales managers such that company revenue and margin goals are achieved. This is accomplished by ensuring satisfaction of current customer base, multi-product growth within current customer base, customer base expansion (prospecting), and working closely with application technology and marketing to optimise value for customers’ cleaning applications involving both chemical and mechanical based technologies. Direct and support regional sales representatives to ensure that growth goals are achieved Develop and implement annual regional sales plan and sales forces Take up on Global Account Management (GAM) and conducting global sales meetings Develop strong relationship and constant contact with current “A” customer base to ensure protection of current business and for expansion of multiple applications within account Development of efficient plan for prospecting for new business opportunities Work closely with AT department to ensure that current business is supported at the highest level & to ensure efficient management of new prospective business opportunities Employment of consultative selling approach through formulation of competitive strategies and promoting customer retention programs nation-wide Continuous multiplier contact and relationship building efforts (all while staying as neutral as possible) Continuous expansion of account contact (reach all decision makers). Support regional and national sales trade shows and expos Travel as necessary to ensure that annual regional sales plan and most importantly regional company revenue goals are achieved To succeed in this Sales Director role, you need have extensive exposure in regional roles, strong in business development, business planning and sales management. Master’s or bachelor’s degree with technical sales experience in preferably chemical and/or semiconductor based technologies Preferably a minimum of 10 years sales experience with technical products and account management or global account management are required, ideally within the electronics assembly field Knowledge of aerospace, electronics manufacturing and/or semiconductor industries are a plus Excellent communication and analytical skills. Consultative selling skills Readiness to travel throughout the assigned region 50-60%
