Accounting and Finance Manager

Job Description : ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE MANAGER MALAYSIA In this business critical role, you will be responsible for the accounting and finance activities of the managed business within APAC Ensure monthly closing is done properly and timely and provides leadership guidance on month-end close process and support team on monthly financial reporting Review monthly bank reconciliation for all accounts, verify accuracy of bank statements and maintain integrity of cash balances and cash flow systems Liaise with internal and external auditors with regards to compliance with group and regulatory policies and procedures Continuous improvement on accounting system and advises on system integration issues relating to finance and/or internal control Coach, mentor and develop staff, including new employee on-boarding and providing career development planning and opportunities To succeed in the Accounting and Finance Manager job, you will need to have entrepreneurial mindset coupled with experience handling multiple fast moving markets in APAC. Solid technical accounting knowledge, audit and control experience Strong people leadership and development skills Ability to collaborate and work effectively with ops, sales and legal colleagues Strong communication skills, fluency in English, and a commercial mindset Ability to see process improvement opportunities and implement Experience with Xero accounting system
