Job Description : Head - Technical Services for a leading mining and mineral processing company based in Central Africa Experience: 10+ years Qualification : M.Sc Chemistry / PHD / BE / B. Tech or M. Tech – Metallurgy / Chemical Engineering Industry : Copper/Cobalt/Zinc/ Nickel etc. • Hands on experience in various unit operations like Crushing & Milling, Minerology of ore, Leaching, Thickening and Counter current washing, Sovent Extraction, Electrowinning • Manage a team of expat and local engineers to keep an eye on the operating parameters of various operating units of the group • Review and prepare monthly metal balance and carry out process audits • Troubleshoot any problems the unit is facing in any of the section and come out with a practical solution • Certify and approve process changes as required in the plant operation • Software Knowledge : Good at Excel for metal accounting, any type of metal accounting software like HSC, METSIM etc.
