Job Description : PROJECT HEAD COAL MINE TANZANIA Company is setting up an Opencast Coal Mine in Tanzania Job Profile: Development of new Opencast Mine as per project details and within timelines Leadingprojectplanning,scheduling,selection/procurementofmachines/equipment,budgeting Coordinatingwithcontractorsandbalancingdeploymentofresourcestomaintainoverallworkefficiency Preparingthebudgetandproposedcostofcoalproduction Recruitingqualifiedworkforcetooperatevariousjobslotsandmonitoringentireminesoperations Administeringthebusinesscorporatesocialresponsibilityprogram&ensuringtheirimpactassessment Troubleshootingandemployinganalyticalcapabilitytoresolvecriticalproblemspertainingtotheequipment Ensuringobservanceofminesafetystandards;maintainingthequalityofcoalwithindefinedqualitynorms Managingentireoperations andmaintenanceofmechanizedopencast coal mine Streamlininglogisticsofcoalminetoensuretimelyandobstruction-freemovementtosiding Drivingcostrationalizationmeasurestocontainoperationalexpenseswithinbudgetarylimits Promote safe work practices, implement safety SOPs, conduct inspections/audits and implement the corrective actions for safety. Comply with statutory obligations, contractual obligation, and implement various guidelines from authorities Ensure implementation and adherence to the Company’s Safety, Health and Environmental management Manage internal & external affairs for the effective utilization of resources. Desired Profile: Mining Engineer with 10+ years of experience in Open Cast Coal Mine Should have Techno-commercial experience in Mines Project Planning & Development, Mine Facilities/ Systems, Drilling & Blasting,Surveying, Safety, CSR, Production & Quality Management, Cost Control, Budget Preparation, Contract Management, andWorkingCapital Management Expert in establishing effective liaison with the government for licenses and contract & MDO management Experience in maintenance & operations of Large Heavy Earthmoving Equipment, Crushers and Screen Plants, Drillers,Excavators,Loaders,Dozers,Dumpers,and VolvoTrucks Knowledge on erection, maintenance and operations of Screening Plant and Crusher Plant Tech Savvy and good at Computers Good at oral and written English communication Compensation: Net Savings in USD + All Expat Benefits
