Regional Logistics Manager

Job Description : REGIONAL LOGISTICS MANAGER THAILAND at one of the most respected FMCG firms based in Nonthaburi. Your main responsibility is to to support a large, complex business in their logistics transformation with a regional remit. In this business critical role you will strategically lead operational direction for transport across the regions and drive performance of the logistics team to achieve both short and long term goal. To lead the development of standard processes and standardisation i.e. INCO terms, for the business To drives the performance of of logistics across regions including service, quality and cost metrics Provides functional leadership for the coaching and career development of transport professionals across the group To be responsible for global transport network (international shipments) and any studies to optimise regional or global networks To supports countries in optimisation of domestic transport networks and studies on future expansion and warehousing / transport strategies To lead project logistics optimisation for cost and service To succeed in the Regional Logistics Manager job, you will need to have 10 years of experience in logistics function with track records of managing high volume of export transactions ,FMCG experience will be advantage. Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field Detailed knowledge of transport best practices (domestic and international shipments) across all modes Experience of network design and optimisation will be advantage Experience in setting up or managing regional logistics hubs Expert in process improvement methods and detailed financial analysis Strategic mindset yet hand on in operations Effective communication and fluent in English
