Product Design & Development Head

Job Description : Head - Product Design & Development - Hosur A Leading Group in Auto Components Manufacturing Responsibilities:- · Supervise team and guide team members for new product development along with technical requirement received from the customers. · Helping for costing and pricing of newly developed product along with the metal specification and product specification. · Understanding the customer requirement and guiding team based on the drawing received or specification received from customer. · Ensure optimum time utilization for development of product and timely reporting of outcomes as well as any challenges if any. · Continuous process improvisation and product improvisation based on the guidelines and ensure quality standards are met. · Training to team and other departments related to new developed product and machine up gradation if any. · Coordinate with production, quality, purchase, tool room, suppliers / vendors, dispatch, finance and with customer in order to develop the product within stipulated timeline with desired quality and minimal cost. · Conduct the feasibility study with knowledge of PFMEA and ensure VAVE through continuous process improvement and customer interaction on development of product. · Drawing review (DR) and feasibility review along with drawing reading and development of product as per ECN and creating quality check points to avoid rejection for WIP and final product. · Trail product testing based on the timeline given by customer for design and development of product in four phases. · Coordinate with purchase department for costing of product and finalization of vendors for meeting desired specification of product with maintained quality. · Phase-wise development of product and quality checking with coordination to customer. · Provide support to vendors and supplier in order to develop product as per customer specifications. Candidate- Diploma, BE, B.Tech, Special degree from NTTF, IGTR, CTTC, CITD Experience-15 to 20 years Candidates from 2 wheeler Manufacturer from sheet metal background are preferred. Other- Communication & Coordination ,Leading & Supervising Expert Decision Making , Planning & Organizing Technical Coordination and team player , Drawing reading Expert Its an Urgent position-
