Plant Director

Job Description : PLANT DIRECTOR SINGAPORE listed semiconductor company which has grown through organic expansion and acquisition of companies over the years. We have registered strong performance in the recent years and is currently on an upwards trajectory in bringing the company to the next level of growth and operational effectiveness. We are now looking for a Plant Finance Controller / Director to manage the manufacturing entities in the region. Reporting to SVP, Finance, you will lead a team in partnering with manufacturing plant GMs, directors and operations head to drive the controlling function of the manufacturing facilities. You will provide strategic and tactical advice to optimize productivity/profitability and drive cost saving initiatives through providing insightful analysis and forecast/gap analysis reports. You will manage the team in delivering the management and statutory reporting while working closely with the global shared services team for finance operations and internal controls matters. They are looking for someone with strong initiative to look into process improvements projects to optimize effectiveness.You should ideally be Accounting Degree and/or CA qualified with >8 years of relevant controlling experience at manufacturing plant level. A strong business partner with the ability to support and influence plant/operations stakeholders in achieving both business and governance goals. You have excellent communication and problem solving skills with the ability to provide strategic advice for the senior management team. You are a people leader in managing diverse team across junior to middle management team members. You have an eye for improvement projects and strive to drive efficiency for processes.
