Job Description : GM FOOD VIETNAM A General Manager for the food division of a European company has become available in Hanoi. The role is managing both sales and manufacturing and reports to the CEO. As the General Manager of the Food division will be responsible for two meat processing plants in the North of Vietnam and a sales team. You will have p&l responsibility and will need a mixture of commercial and operations skills. Responsible for all activities in Vietnam related to slaughter housing and food processing, including our meat factories nation-wide Responsible for P&L for food Collaborate with the Commercial Director of Livestock to ensure strategic position of product in the market Commercially responsible for strategic positioning of our product in the market Responsible for the organisational design and ensure stable organisation ready for future growth Build a strong succession planning for key positions in food division including Food Division Director position The successful candidate will have experience in the food industry and have both strong commercial and operations capabilities. Excellent English skills and Vietnamese is highly preferable Master degree in Business-Administration 10+ years experience in food industry with at least five years of experience in management position High standard of integrity, credibility, and business ethics Business and result-oriented
