Job Description : SCM NIGERIA FOR STEEL INDUSTRY 12+ years experience As part of the Supply chain management, the candidate is expected to evaluate requirements sent as Indent from various plants, check the requirement for technical details, evaluate the inventory levels of the units to derive safety stock level, economic order quantities etc. and provide advisory to units on Purchase plan for maintaining optimum inventory of critical spares, regular spares, plant consumables etc. Successful candidate is expected to be responsible for owning the entire purchase process of evaluating the Indents from Technical and Inventory viewpoints, leverage our dedicated overseas Purchase Offices in India and China, get the best prices, prepare techno-commercial comparative statements with options both from overseas Purchase offices as well as local options available and guide the Units is selecting the best option. Experience of at least 5 years in Steel making industry, preferably from Purchase / Inventory management function.
