Job Description : PLANT HEAD KENYA Education M.Tech/B.Tech in Textile Technology MBA in Operations/Marketing Experience 15 years Plus in the same field skill : • Must have techno-commercial experience in Textile Manufacturing. • Must be dynamic leader with excellent execution skills, keen on quality and high efficiency environment JD Technical Knowledge-Desirable: Must have technical knowledge and experience on weaving/Printing. Must have knowledge of different types of yarn i.e. Cotton, polyester, nylon etc. Understanding of quality requirements. Must be able to guide and train subordinates for prevention of defects at any stage of production. Production & Manpower Planning: Must review the required manpower department wise at regular interval as per work-load without any loss on productivity. Review of Daily Production Planning of the all the sections Review of Daily Efficiency / output of the mentioned sections Monitoring, Analysis of Rejections/Wastage during production at various stages. Review of Process for necessary changes for removing the Bottlenecks. Team building skills with long term career Plan. Social Compliance, 5S, Health and Safety: Review & Ensuring of the Social Compliance requirements of respective buyers and 2nd Party Auditors. Holding Monthly Safety meetings with HoDs and HR Head. Assessment of Employee feedback on the Work environment and analysis. Recommendation of changes to management to improve the Working Conditions. Ensuring best safety and occupational health practices in the Unit. Outsourcing: Review of internal Capacities & utilization for Outsource decision Superwise monthly Reconcilation of outsourcing accounts. Quality management System Compliance: Compliance to defined Quality Management System as per industry requirement. Ensure execution and proper compliance of QMS by team education and involvement. Must be able to lead continual improvement projects and implementation of best practices. Maintenance: Ensure timely PM af all machines (release machines timely for PM) Review spare management along with Maintenance person. Exposure to TPM implementation will be an added advantage. Must be faimiliar to service providers in maintenance of industry relevant Machines.
