Cost Consultant

Job Description : Cost Consultant in United Kingdom(UK) who had worked with well reputed Civil/Construction Companies Looking for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about cost and commercial management. On this significant project which includes site infrastructure and external works upgrades and well as numerous large but simple buildings, you will be part of a largely site-based commercial team reviewing on-site activities and working closely with the Contractor’s team to review and agree the accounts for both the civils and building elements of work. In addition you will play an important part of the team in identifying and delivering solutions that represent good value for money. Responsibilities will include: · Conducting feasibility studies, advising on procurement strategies and contract selection, writing and undertaking procurement reports. Applying the value management techniques at the outset of a project. · Managing, estimating and cost planning activities to include taking ownership of and presenting the final cost plan. · Provide Employers Agent support where needed. · Measurement and checking Contractor’s measures · Ensuring that final accounts are negotiated and agreed. · Being a key interface with client, stakeholders and other consultants at all project stages. · Handling of contractual frameworks and standard form of contract. About you You have a degree in quantity surveying/cost management or equivalent and hold a professional membership i.e. MRICS/RICS. You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams. You will have a construction or project management background.
