Supply Chain Manager

Job Description : CM DUBAI leading F&B manufacturer in the UAE in search of a Supply Chain Manager. The role oversees and manages the company's overall supply chain, logistics strategy and operations to maximize the process efficiency and productivity. This person will also lead the full procurement, warehousing & logistics operations of the business whilst ensuring customer retention and satisfaction. This person shall develop a tight integration between planning, logistics and other areas of operation and optimize performance and on-time delivery of products. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Direct and supervise the end-to-end supply chain process, including all planning (supply, demand, S&OP, etc), procurement, fleet, logistics and warehousing, distribution and fulfillment Maintain a constant relationship with sales, manufacturing team and finance to improve the forecast accuracy Manage import/export operations and regularly monitor progress, costs, and performance Work with warehouse manager to ensure inventory accuracy and process efficiency Ensure distribution warehouses are designed and operated properly in line with future requirements for volume, handling, storage and shipment Direct communication and coordination of timely product receipt, product organization, capacity and storage of product in the warehouse. Work closely with various people both internally and with external vendors of the company negotiating to get the best rates possible on materials and logistics services. Identify process bottleneck and implement SOPs and solutions Establish annual teams’ KPIs in accordance with company’s objectives, and manage performance to ensure attainment of goals for relevant departments Oversee the purchasing of raw materials and manage its inventory Work on the packaging sourcing to make it more efficient Ensure lock in our contracts at the best possible prices and with optimum coverage Work on the buffer stocks required for efficient inventory levels Establish annual teams’ KPIs in accordance with the company’s objectives, and manage performance to ensure attainment of goals for relevant departments Engage and maintain close business relationships and professional communication across all stakeholders including external/internal partners, suppliers, service providers and customers Create and execute business goals for the supply chain by leveraging lean operational tools to minimize waste, decrease cost, improve floor space utilisation and operational efficiencies Manage key stakeholders’ expectations throughout the life-cycle of the business and consistently communicate the key metrics including a budget, production and financial performance metrics for the operations Anticipate changes in cost, availability, and suitability of products to develop strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations Act as the main point of contact in Customer Service for all distribution partners in the region and ensure client/customer satisfaction. KEY INGREDIENTS Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance / Commerce, etc or a relevant field (MBA preferred) Minimum of 10 years of experience in hands-on Supply Chain role with a food & beverage manufacturing business Strong experience in logistics, warehouse and procurement with a background in Finance and P&L management Strong commercial acumen to understand implications on Supply Chain Planning, Procurement, Warehousing, Fleet Management and Distribution Proven leadership skills in building and managing large teams Excellent analytical and negotiation skills are required Critical thinker with problem-solving skills Hands-on experience with supply chain management software.
