Job Description : PROCUREMENT MANAGER DUBAI market-leading food manufacturer that is looking for a Procurement Manager to join their team in Dubai. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Working closely with relevant stakeholders to make sure contracts and terms are favorable - resolving contractual and commercial/technical Maintains optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries to meet customer requirements Responsible for continuing programs of exploration for new materials, suppliers, and processes to achieve the best possible quality, reliability, prices, continuity, and delivery Use process (Best Value Options Analysis - BVOA) to analyze current vendors Interfaces with relevant in-house stakeholders to understand the stock availability/consumption Use Lean manufacturing practices for material traffic setup and flow, internal and external to the facility Developing sound, cost-effective strategies for the purchasing of materials used in the business Evaluating spending operations while seeking ways to improve and enhance the quality of products purchased and the timeliness of deliveries Communicating with management regularly regarding the efficient flow of goods and services affecting production Developing risk management procedures to mitigate losses in the event of product shortages Working closely with the relevant in-house stakeholders where necessary to make sure the demand and supply are met issues and disputes. Ensures that the company standard practices and procedures are followed in connection with all procurement department functions KEY INGREDIENTS Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics or related field 12 Minimum years' experience in a similar role Background in the FMCG Food industry requires Results-oriented, metrics-driven individual with expertise in purchasing, supplier collaboration, development, and compliance Solid analytical and communication skills Energetic and hungry to grow in a quickly growing business Ability to think outside the box Ability to build new long-lasting working relationships Ideally well-traveled and has a good sense of global markets Strong negotiation skills Ethically driven
