Finance Director

Job Description : FINANCE DIRECTOR KUWAIT leading F&B operator based in Kuwait to recruit a Finance Director to plot the financial journey and strategic growth of the multi-GCC organisation. You will lead the company in its most important decisions based on financial strategies, business growth and performance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Managing an efficient control team of accountants, bookkeeping all company current transactions, compliance, auditing and documenting company financial history Managing an analytical thinking team of financial analysts, translating numbers to insights reports and reporting company performance Build a team with strong business acumen to make accurate financial predictions and business planning Assisting the management team in financial strategic planning and advising on the company's direction Responsible for presenting company financial strategy to the board members Responsible for fundraising cycle and presenting company financial status and predictions to investors Lead the development of the financial department in using the best technology, tools, policies and process to ensure smooth workflow and SLA for the business and the company external relation Responsible for all company financial operations: cash flow, bookkeeping of all daily transitions, liabilities, assets, budget control, financial records and reporting Responsible for internal control and audit on departmental cost reductions and spend against agreed budgets and developing policies on authorised spending matrix to control the company cash flow and budget Implement a risk management cycle to manage analysis of company liabilities, expenses, investments and budget to present evaluations reports Find opportunities to grow the business revenue based on the market trends and economic opportunities Responsible for reporting and monitoring the company performance and measuring the success based on company OKR’s and budget. KEY INGREDIENTS Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent Multi GCC market restaurant experience Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods Proficient in the use of financial management software Ability to strategise and solve problems Excellent leadership skills with proven ability to develop relationships and establish trust with associates at all levels Fluent English (Arabic a plus).
