Shift Engineer

Job Description : SHIFT ENGINEER GHANA Co. mfg. a large verity of Product range consists of garden furniture, thermo ware, and household items. Household items like buckets, PET bottles, jerry can, jar, trolleys, etc... Molded garden furniture like chairs, tables, trolleys with wheels, etc Candidate Profile: Education Qualification: Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in any Engineering or Plastic Engineering or Technology Experience: Candidate must have a minimum of 8+ years in the Plastic Industry. Roles and Responsibilities Job Role: · Candidate must have to handle day to day production of injection & blow moulding machines in shift. · Candidate will be solely responsible to ensure that various quality checks are carried out and product quality of highest level is achieved on various products being produced in the plant. · Candidate have to set the processing parameters on all the machine/moulds as per agreed production cycle times to achieve shift targets. · Candidate must have to be willing to work in day & night shift in any of manufacturing plant. · Candidate have good knowledge on Milacron/Ferromatik/ Jon Wai machines preferably worked in manufacturing company having knowledge of PET injection moulding process and moulds. · Candidate have able to handle the plant ancillaries independently like diesel generator, air compressor, water pumps, etc. · Candidate have to record shift production, scrap, raw material re-conciliation and to be able to control local workforce of about 100, mainly of machine operator and production supervisor level as well monitor their attendance in shift. · Candidate have to maintain and reconcile statements for consumables that are required in the production process. · Candidate have to maintaining warehouse records such as preparing reconciliation statements of raw material, diesel, spare parts and any other consumables. · Candidate have to ensure all manpower requirements such as operators, electricians, fitters & workers are available at all times and trained accordingly. · Candidate have to develop and motivate staff to optimize the workforce.
