Business Development Head

Job Description : HEAD BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OMAN Job: The position shall be responsible for the Sales / Marketing function to achieve the objectives of the profit centre in a highly competitive and dynamic business environment including top line / bottom line growth through nationwide distribution network. He shall be responsible for all sales and business development activities, including brand building, pricing and promotional strategies pertaining to special equipment and Industrial Products. The job involves close liaison with foreign principals and to plan & implement aggressive strategies to achieve desired sales, market share and profitability objectives of the division. Maintaining key customer base, implementing innovative promotional campaigns, monitoring market trends and exploring growth opportunities. Leading, training and motivating a team of highly competent sales / marketing professionals also form part of the key responsibilities. Qualification: Degree (preferably Engineering) with additional management qualification from reputed institute. Age: Around 48 years Experience: 20 + years of experience in the business development for industrial products - specifically those in Oil & Gas sector with minimum 8+ years in a senior management position, heading entire sales / marketing function. Proven track record & leadership qualities, effective communication, strong inter-personal skills, sound commercial acumen, analytical ability and pleasing personality are essential. Exposure to international business and dealing with overseas principles will be a big advantage. Should have exposure in middle east. Following is the indicative list of products/equipment.
