Operations Head

Job Description : OPERATIONS HEAD INDIA CTC UPTO 90LPA Indian MNC and a market leader in the household appliance market. They are looking for Operations Head to manage multiple factories and their supply chain for India and the position will be based out of Ahmadabad. · Planning, motivating, reviewing performance and handling the team to bring out best performance. · Planning for annual and monthly production targets, setting quality standards, reviewing production to ensure quality as well as smooth functioning of the processes. · Developing and Managing contract manufacturers to produce the finished goods in line with the production plan. · Engaging in R&D of products and give inputs to develop as well as improve new and existing products. · Preparing operational budget and plan for capital budgeting in line with production and business plans. · Auditing, identifying and implementing practices to improve efficiency's and reduce weaknesses in order to minimise risks. · Implementing the supply chain and business transformation strategies in accordance with the given strategies and in a timely manner. · Developing and implementing cost reduction strategies by reducing raw material costs. · Ensuring timely and quality inflow of materials for optimised production. · Developing and maintain negotiations for shipping, line haul and local freight in the most cost-effective manner. · Reducing the requirement for airfreight by ensuring a stable flow of materials through conventional methods. · Implementing compliance program, conducting audits, assessing compliance risks and training employees on regulations · Managing warranty rates and managing external service providers Ideally you are a full time engineer with an MBA degree with atleast 20 years of experience in managing operations and atleast 5 years of experience in consumer durable industry at an operations head level . You have solid experience in leading operations functions such as manufacturing, QA, materials and, supply chain in a consumer durable and electrical manufacturing set up. You should be a great leader and should have great communication skills. You should have a terrific track record in leading teams and should be ready for a challenging assignment.
