Production Manager

Job Description : Production Manager" NIGERIA Qualification: BE / B Tech (Mechanical) or Diploma in relevant field. Experience: 10-15 years of experience from Recycling industry (Lead, Aluminium, Copper, Steel, Cement etc.). Excellent English Communications skill required. Responsibilities: o Production planning and control systems, process and product development, quality management systems, training and development of work force, cost control measures, process and plant up gradation o Overall control on productivity, machine setup, consumables, rejection, manpower & day-to-day departmental activity o Leading the factory and team to meet the supply chain commitment in the most competitive manner in terms of cost, quality, productivity and delivery o Prioritizing production plan in order to satisfy changed customer requirements, non availability of tools / operators / machine, etc. o Overall cost and profitability of the plant, ensuring maximum and optimum utilization of plant and equipments o Ensuring all regulatory / local government / local union policies are met; managing interaction and liaison with government departments and other related authorities o Development and implementation of maintenance practices and procedures which maintain the integrity and total effectiveness of the equipment and facilities o Maintaining a clean and safe plant o Training and development of plant supervisory and administrative staff o Daily interaction with senior authorities for daily production achievement, management objectives and production planning o Ensuring compliance with the ISO 9000 guidelines and handling IR issues & negotiations with the labors and ensuring adherence to safety guidelines in all manufacturing / plant operations
