Solar Engineer

Job Description : SOLAR ENGINEER DRC Co. is specializes in solar items such as invertors, batteries, solar panels, regulators and various solar powered appliances with vast range of goods we stock, including government supply for certain projects. Education Qualification: B.E. in Electrical Engineering Experience: The candidate should have 8+ years of work experience in Solar PV industry. Roles and Responsibilities: · Reviewing and preparing technical and non-technical reports to a high standard including specifications, reports, proposals, calculations and contracts · Actively assisting with business development and client management · Attending client and site visits as required (should be able to supervise or execute projects at remote locations in Democratic Republic OF Congo) · Carrying out technical assessments and provides key project monitoring decisions · Assist the sales staff to screen and qualify the feasibility of energy efficiency and Solar PV opportunities · Develop, define and dimension technically and economically feasible applications by performing preliminary engineering/design, project metering and measurements of critical parameters · Conduct feasibility studies for both ground mounted and roof mounted solar PV projects · Possess knowledge on rebate application process NYSERDA · Overall responsibility and accountability for part production and quality · Preferable if hand's-on on experience with brands such as Victron energy, schneider electric. · Need to have good knowledge in any one of the designing software · Provide good customer service by making certain that home owners were satisfied with plans and finished products. · Provided outstanding customer service while performing the installation and repair U-verse television and other in-home entertainment and communication services. · Developed and maintained solid client relationships by providing quality customer service upon on-site visits or by phone. · Captured and documented for historical purposes the installation procedures and tracked customer service levels Desired Candidate Profile · Organized · Multi-tasker · Great negotiator · Be cooperative · NABCEP certification is a plus. · Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and solar modeling tools, including Helioscope. · Experience reading and understanding technical specifications and construction documents. · Experience with professional oral and written communication skills
