Chief Operating Officer

Job Description : COO UAE COO to join the senior leadership team of a major player in the trading, distribution and retail sector. The organisation is a household name based in the UAE, with operations throughout the region. This key leadership role is a strategic advisor to the CEO and Board as well as the driving force behind a large supply chain operation supporting the Group’s international businesses; the role is also responsible for the Group’s Support Services (HR and IT teams). Based in Dubai, but with travel required throughout the region, the COO is responsible for operational excellence in the delivery of all supply chain operations, which are so essential to the success of a trading, distribution and retail organisation. This includes the inpsiring leadership of all personal responsible for planning, purchasing, international shipping, logistics, warehousing, wholesale operations, B2C delivery services, returns and stock management. This role is ideal for an experienced COO ready for a new challenge, or a current Supply Chain Director who is ready to take the next step in their career. The perfect candidate will hold an MBA and have a minimum of 15 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles and proven experience in transformation, change management and cost reduction. In addition, the ideal candidate will be a great communicator, an authentic and inspiring people leader, and a courageous change champion.
