Job Description : COMMERCIAL HEAD THAILAND FOR SPECIALITY CHEMICALS the leading ethanol manufacturer based in Bangkok. Reporting directly to the Head of Business Development, this is a role for a Sales Manager who is a leader in speciality chemical field. In this business critical role you will be responsible for defining the broad sales and business development strategy for Ethanol product. You will also take the lead providing direction to all commercial activities and business development to drive sales activity for the business unit.. Developing and implementing the commercial strategy for the business Understanding the value drivers of the business and identifying profitable commercial opportunities to grow revenue and market share Developing and maintaining an excellent understanding of the key customers/target audience to ensure that their needs are being met and that their business is retained Working closely with the Head Business Development to manage key customers (existing and new), thereby improving turnover and profitability Reviewing existing products, services and markets Undertaking market research and analysis and producing business plans/recommendations (including all associated costs and forecast revenue for the business), to ensure that all business development opportunities (new products, services and markets) are optimised Lead new product or technology development, from innovation through to successful implementation across each business function, to enable it to become a core part of the business Ensuring that regular reviews are carried out with customers, to ensure that their needs are being met and that excellent customer service is achieved and, developing future improvements/services for the customers Representing the company externally e.g. at networking events, conferences and exhibitions to enhance and strengthen the company’s profile and optimise all business development opportunities Communicating with all major stakeholders (internal and external) to achieve business objectives Bachelor’s degree in Chemical engineering Minimum of 10 years relevant professional experience in a speciality chemical/ biomass, biochemical Five years’ experience in a sales management role being responsible for an area of multiple countries Motivate people to achieve sales and drive growth Develop capability and talent to support the market Hands-on, structured, and well organised Able to plan and forecast in both short-term and long-term
