15 yearsJob Description : General Manager for one of reputed 4 star hotel client in Bahrain. Key tasks Reporting into the Vice President of Operations, the General Manager will oversee the day to day operations of the 4 star all housing a total of 120 suites in Bahrain in accordance with company standards, mission statement, vision and values. The maximization of financial performance, guest satisfaction and colleague development will be an integral part of the position. Furthermore, it will be essential to assist in the development and communication of strategies, goals and objectives as well as the implementation and monitoring of financial and operational plans for the hotels while managing, growing and fostering positive owner relations and maximizing performance. Main Responsibilities: Directly supervise the Executive Committee members and indirectly supervise all hotel personnel Create effectively collaborative and inclusive environments where all employees/colleagues are encouraged to provide input Build quality relationships to the management team Maintain product and service quality standards by conducting ongoing evaluations The attaining and maintenance of service levels that exceed expectations Handle VIPs, understanding international protocols for government officials and royalty Develops accurate and aggressive long and short range financial objectives consistent with the Brand strategy Growing business A good overview of finances, think about the future and decide on strategic initiatives Efficient operation and cost control of all hotel departments and facilities Executes marketing, sales, and operational activities, producing results that meet or exceed the hotel s business plan Developing People Promote integrity by fostering a speak up culture and demands fair and respectful behavior and enforces compliance Think about the future anticipating future trends and opportunities Translate organizational strategy into appropriate local strategy Use sound problem solving skills by identifying relevant information and interpreting and evaluating it objectively Be an ambassador for our Heartist people service philosophy.
