Chief Executive Officer 
15 yearsJob Description : CEO OMAN The Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) is responsible for leading the development and execution of the OCC’s vision and mission and long-term strategy with a view to creating Shareholder's value. The prime objective of the role is to sustain business growth, market share and profitability at the same time securing Company image and being socially responsible. The role also entails being ultimately responsible for all day-to-day management decisions and for implementing the Company’s long- and short-term plans. The CEO acts as a direct liaison between the Board and management of the Company and communicates to the Board on Behalf of management. Oversee Company operations to ensure availability of the plant, effective and efficient operations, maintain quality of products and services and cost-effective management of resources. Key Performance Indicators: Maintain the company's image. Corporate governance. Social responsibility. Sustainable financial returns. Market share and Growth. Profitability Plant availability. Productivity, measuring productivity for Company, departments and Individual, Health, Environment, and safety. Attract and retain talents. KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE Strategical Development: Creating, communicating, and implementing the organization's values, vision, mission, and overall direction. Leading the development and implementation of the overall organization's strategy Formulating and implementing the strategic plan that guides the direction of the business or organization. Evaluating the success of the organization in reaching its goals. Making sure that each strategic goal is measurable. Financial: Sustain company's financial returns, growth, market share and competitiveness. Direct or coordinate an company financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, or increase efficiency. Review activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revise objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions. Prepare budgets for approval, including those for funding or implementation of programs. To ensure that expenditures of the Company are within the authorized annual budget of the Company Customer: To ensure business compliance with regulators, government, legal requirements, auditors, and all related business authorities To ensure the integrity of all public disclosures by the Company. Negotiate or approve contracts or agreements with government, suppliers, distributors, other organizational entities, or individuals. To ensure that the Company maintains high standards of corporate citizenship and social responsibility wherever it does business. Create a culture of enhancing internal customer satisfaction within the organization through continuous improvement in providing services. Assures the organization and its mission, programs, products, and services are consistently presented in strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders. To provide high quality service to internal customers. Process: Develop and enforce the culture of safety and healthy working environment. Overseeing all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission Oversees design, marketing, promotion, delivery and quality of programs, products, and services To ensure that assets are maintained in order to operate effectively and efficiently. Generates new business and recommend approval of new projects. To assess the principal risks of the Company and to ensure that these risks are being monitored and managed. Identifies problems and opportunities and addresses them; brings those which are appropriate to the Board and/or its committees; and facilitates discussion and deliberation To ensure effective internal controls and management information systems are in place. To ensure plant availability throughout the year and reduces downtimes to the minimum during the planned and the unplanned outages. Organizational Capability: Builds and maintains relationships with business heads to discuss talent acquisition & development requirements. To lead by example and encourage all employees to conduct their activities in accordance with all applicable laws and the Company’s standards and policies, including its environmental, safety and health policies, Leads the design of a corporate compensation & benefit scheme for the organization which is competitive and attracts/ retains the best talents. Ensures Talents development plans are in place and updated succession planning policies are in place. Selects and develops a team of professionals to develop robust company processes in line with vision and business goals. Institutionalizes the performance management philosophy & system. Builds a culture of goal settings, communication, and meritocracy. Proposes bonus and incentive pay for employees in the organization. Contributes to the evaluation and development of HR strategy and performance in cooperation with the executive team. Builds and communicates the employer brand to attract, retain and develop best talent in the industry. Analyze operations to evaluate performance of OCC and its staff in meeting objectives or to determine areas of potential cost reduction, program improvement, or policy change; Governance: To ensure that the Directors are properly informed, and that sufficient information is provided to the Board to enable the Directors to form appropriate judgments. To ensure the integrity of all public disclosure by the Company. Inform the Board and its committees about trends, issues, problems, and activities to facilitate policymaking. Recommends policy positions. To sit on committees of the Board where appropriate as determined by the Board; and to abide by specific internally established control systems and authorities, To communicate effectively with shareholders, employees, Government authorities, other stakeholders and the public. Works with the Board / Chairman to enable the Board to fulfill its governance functions and facilitates the optimum performance by the Board, its committees and individual Board members. Manages the Board’s due diligence process to assure timely attention to core issues. In concert with the Chairman, to develop Board agendas; request meetings of the Board be called when appropriate. In concert with the Chairman, to determine the date, time and location of the annual meeting of shareholders and to develop the agenda for the meeting; Recommends volunteers to participate in the Board and its committees. JOB REQUIREMENTS Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, Accounting, Banking or Finance, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent. MBA or a master’s degree in business discipline or Other professional qualifications is desirable. Skills: As a Chief Executive Officer, this individual demonstrates critical competencies in four broad categories: commitment to results, business savvy, leading change, and motivating. This individual identifies relevant information and helps transform this information into individual and organizational knowledge and learning. The position requires demonstrated experience in integrating and coordinating diverse areas of management. Leading change: The chief executive shares company's values, mission and vision and consistently displays integrity, model behavior, develops people, and builds teams. This individual deals effectively with demanding situations and designs and implements interventions. Motivating: knows how to influence and enable others, addresses the impact of attitude and actions. strategic orientation and business acumen . Overall Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience with 5 years in an executive management role. Specific Experience: Preferably working experience in cement industry or related or marketing or financial institution or related government sector. Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision, Strong understanding of corporate finance, Marketing, HR, and performance management.
