Job Description : BUSINESS HEAD INDIA FOR PLASTIC DIVISION 20+ years experience CTC upto 75 LAKH INR · Functional reporting is to the SBU Head based out of Gurgaon · The role has been primarily created to drive India Operations, Business Finance & Business Development / Marketing for India Business. Primary Responsibilities: · Experience in designing and implementing the action plan for entire India business process · Experience in handling Complete Business Plan for India with good experience in Key parameters like Operations, Business Finance & Business Development / new business opportunity by setting up commercial framework for robust and long term growth THIS INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO: Booked order delivery (Production) · Manage the booked order revenue delivery (topline) and profitability (costs) for the current year · Drive and monitor QCD (Quality, Cost and Delivery) parameters across plants · Liaising with customers for quality or delivery issues and suggest resolution for the same Quality: · Monitor Receiving Quality (RQC) PPM, In-Process and End of Line (EOL) rejection PPM in all plants and co-ordinate with Manufacturing and Quality Excellence to improve existing quality levels Project Management (Minor Change) · Co-ordinate with Engineering for approvals on product design for repeat RFQs, co-ordinate with Sourcing for new supplier development and co-ordinate with Marketing for new business opportunities Breakdown & Maintenance · Monitor breakdowns and failures at plants and implement initiatives for preventive and utility maintenance (AMC and spares management) Capex and Purchase · Plan for capex purchases in coordination with Finance for all plants for the next 5 years in adherence to the business plan · Coordinate with vendors for purchase of machines & spare parts and oversee machine installation Inventory management · Monitor inventory levels at plants and driving initiatives for improvement in Inventory control · Define and monitor critical spares levels, minimum and maximum inventory levels at all plants Compliance & Safety · Ensure adherence to plant compliances · Monitor plant safety and identify risks, conduct safety audits Sales · Responsible for regular sales of booked order Improvement initiatives · Implement continuous improvement initiatives in plats to maintain required Original Equipment Efficiency (OEE) and Line Efficiency · Ensure standardization of manufacturing processes and implement action plan across plants Behavioral Competencies: · Entrepreneurship Comfort with ambiguity, opportunity Sensing and driving innovation. · Strategic Thinking Envisioning future, creativity and systems thinking. · Business Acumen Customer focused, value optimization, managing risk. · Enabling Change · Passion and Execution Emotional connect, ownership & accountability and drive for results. · Leadership and Building Team Functional Competencies: Highly business oriented, analytical, self believer, focusing on core issues with a broad management perspective, Client Relationships, Coaching, Managing Processes, Self-Motivated, Subordinate Involvement, Customer Focus, Statistical Analysis, Cross-component integration knowledge, Effective client management, Good presentation, communication and correspondence skills, Effective teamwork and mentorship, negotiation skills, six sigma expert, Root cause analysis, Market knowledge and research, Business process improvement, Agility Required Candidate profile QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS · Engineer / Diploma with 15 to 20 years of experience in Plastic with hands on experience in managing the P&L including operations, Business finance & Business Development would be suitable for this assignment · Proven team leadership and interpersonal abilities · Sharp, high energy, results-driven, solution-oriented, focused and motivated, with solid decision-making capability · Excellent analytical skills & a Quick learner · Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills, along with the ability to listen, understand and influence · Effective and decisive under pressure · Possesses the confidence and presence to interact at senior management levels · Comfortable with fast-paced, results-oriented environment · Demonstrated ability to influence others, both directly and indirectly, and to operate effectively in a matrixed environment · Clear thinking / problem solving: successfully led cross-functional projects/process improvement within operations/finance function involving process improvement - able to grasp new ideas quickly & ensure that the same is implemented with the necessary improvements.
