Procurement Planner

Job Description : Procurement Planner OMAN Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management or equivalent. Minimum 8 years of experience in Contracting and Procurement in an Oil and Gas company for FEED Projects. § Good knowledge of material specifications, good understanding of the criticality of materials according to the project needs, Standard lead times, Company standards, international delivery times and thorough understanding of the complexities of major vendor packages and the critical deliverables for the project. § Extensive knowledge in Primavera P6 R20, MS Project, MS Office tools. § Extensive knowledge and usage of ERP system (SAP) related to Procurement. § Good knowledge regarding the minimum documents required to be approved from discipline to proceed with manufacturing and vendor input required for releasing the AFC’s for construction. § Good understanding of the Construction sequence of works to understand the § criticality of the materials required at site. § Good understanding of the PSUA, Testing and commissioning, Star-up of the project to prioritize the critical service PO’s’ and to ensure timely submission and approval of vendor documentations.
