Job Description : UK MANAGING DIRECTOR for a tug, towage and port services client with 600 staff. We’re looking for a true people leader who will inspire and motivate colleagues to give of their best and deliver a 100% customer-focused service. This is a really interesting multi-faceted role where no day will be the same as the next. You will be responsible for strategy and P&L, you must have an obsession with delivering top quality customer service and instilling that instinct in the team, you really care about your staff and about making the working environment a happy one and of course a safe one. At the same time, you will be dealing and negotiating with unions so you must have previous experience of union relations and collective bargaining environments. You have a background in ports, transport industries, logistics or similar, you have held senior leadership roles and are ready for your next challenge.
