Job Description : NBM AUSTRALIA FOR FMCG a well known, privately owned Australian short shelf life foods company providing quality, added value products into retail and food service throughout Australia. Recent growth across a key account has create the need to add a National Business Manager. Reporting to the General Manager of Sales, this role is responsible for overseeing the execution of the Sales strategy and business priorities ensure category growth continues contributing to the overall sales performance of the Group. Reporting to the General Manager - Sales, your purpose is to lead and manage the Customer Management (Sales) function within a major retail account, ensuring that sales, volume, revenue and budget objectives are achieved. Maintaining strong relationships with Key Account personnel and leverage this rapport to build a profitable business with the support of colleagues. Provide key liaison and communication link between the customer requirements and operational capabilities on-site to ensure we are able to fulfil commitments in providing high quality product and services. Work with key personnel within the business to ensure new product request from customers aligns to the overall business strategic objectives and continued channel growth. Manage the end-to-end product development process through the expertise of the Senior Development Technologist for your relevant channel. Provide management and guidance to the Senior Development Technologist ensuring they lead R&D concepts, development, costings, trials, launches and post reviews. Oversee that all new products developed comply with customer development ideally looking for prior experience in a similar role working in a fast moving environment. Leadership ability and the confidence to communicate and present at high level will be key coupled with proven experience in executing strategic sales initiatives. Also open to Senior Key National Account Managers looking for a move up in their career. 20+ years experience out of which 5 - 10 years experience in a similar senior sales leadership role across FMCG. Proven experience in executing strategic sales initiatives. Experience with SAP, highly desirable but not absolutely necessary. The ability to analyse sales data in order to draw insights on market changes Ability to manage change within team and operational environments Experience in team leading
