Job Description : OPERATIONS MANAGER PAPUA NEW GUINEA 10+ years experience · The potential candidates should have excellent communication, managerial and interpersonal skills. The person should be willing to relocate and work in Papua New Guinea. The candidate should have high integrity and perform his duties will full honesty and diligence. · Candidate should have good experience of operations and must have handled the overall operations and supervised the team. · The successful candidate will be managing the yard / warehouse and looking after the overall operations of the yard. 1. Oversee and manage the yard, look after the purchase, collection of scrap from different locations, supervising the processing and loading of scrap 2. Supervise, guide and streamline the day to day activities of the yard 3. Supervise and manage the supervisors and the workers at the yard and on site locations 4. Maintaining a proper inventory system at yard and regular maintaining and updating the proper inventory of the stock at yard 5. Looking after the sale of industrial gases and industrial goods 6. Regular coordination with customers, suppliers, shipping line and other third parties. 7. Preparation of the quotes, invoices, DO and maintaining proper documentation and filing system. Preparation and review of shipping documentation as required 8. Emailing daily work reports and weekly progress reports to the head office and regular coordination with the head office.
