8 yearsJob Description : COST CONTROLLER WEST AFRICA FOR MINING Cost Controller from a mining background with experience expansion projects to join their team on site in West Africa. Responsibilities: · Cost control and cost reporting. · Budget control, variation orders and change management. · Project man-hours control and reporting. · Project commitment and expenditure control. · Estimating and forecasting. · Project accounting including client invoicing and cash-flow management. · Mentoring and training subordinates. Requirements: Qualification and Skill · Costing, Quantity surveying or Accounting qualification. · 8 years previous experience in project cost control / cost engineering and project accounting within the mining sector. · Strong attention to detail and good communication skills. · Good financial experience with high level of accuracy. · Computer literate in MS Office packages and cost control software. · Experience working in multi-cultural, diverse teams. · Previous expatriate experience in West Africa preferred.
