Production Engineer

Job Description : Production engineer for Injection molding NIGERIA Position Summary: This position will be responsible for performance qualification (PQ) of new moulded components/Existing running components , addressing customer feedback issues, implementing process improvements on existing processes, and implementing cost improvement ideas. Roles and responsibilities include: • Develop and improve moulding processes for new and existing products • Review new work instructions produced by New Product Engineering in advance of PQ • Execute PQ’s for new moulded components and collect data for PQ reports • Complete PQ reports to transfer products into on-going production • Provide daily production support to the molding operation • Assist with development and implementation of Quality Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures and other manufacturing related documentation • Prepare requests for project funding and monitor spending against budget through completion of the project • Respond to customer complaints and initiate action to prevent recurrence of non-conformities related to the product, service, processes, or the quality system Requirements: • Four (4) year degree in engineering preferred with a minimum of 12 years’ experience in Automotive ,electrical components moulding • Experience and understanding of de-coupled injection moulding and structured process development • Experiences of process of hot runner moulds • Excellent verbal and written communication skills• High level of attention to detail and meticulous record-keeping capability • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills in order to manage multiple responsibilities with little to no supervision • High level of initiative and flexibility in adapting to changing needs of a dynamic work environment • Proficiency with Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
