Factory Manager

Job Description : HEAD BREWER AND FACTORY MANAGER GHANA Must have International experience. This job is based in Ghana. All relocation costs paid. Salary Accommodation Plane ticket paid for plus annual tickets Transportation allowance Health Insurance The role holder shall be responsible for brewing operations, execution and quality control processes. The ideal candidate must have a strong knowledge of raw material sourcing and the beer production process, including but not limited to production scheduling, brewing and cellaring. Lead the brewery in the application of best practices and quality control measures in brewing, cellaring, and packaging. Develop and optimize recipes across many styles of beer. Manage cost and reduce wastage. Lead the recipe design process from design through production. Manage raw materials and inventory. Oversee purchasing and receiving of all materials on site. Coordinate with local farmers and manage removal of all spent grain. Manage vendor relationships. Maintain health and safety standards at the brewery at all times. Support, train and manage brew staff on all aspects of the job. Lead brewery tours and participate in interviews, and events when needed. Identify areas for improvement when it comes to efficiency, communication, processes, quality, etc. Maintain and organize all brewing records. Actively participate in and contribute to local, national and international beer and food events. Diploma from any recognized institution. 15+ years of commercial brewery experience. Expert knowledge of brewing processes, brewery science, and quality control. Track record of producing high-quality, commercial recipes and managing brewery processes. Experience leading a successful recipe development and optimizing recipe costs. Familiarity with brewery equipment and technology and ability to troubleshoot, maintain and fix all brewery equipment. Experience with packaging Ability to manage resources and staff. Excellent management and leadership skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Inherent desire to innovate and learn. Ability to operate heavy machinery. Ability to multitask effectively. Extreme attention to detail, should have strong work ethic and a willingness to support other departments as situation demands.
