Job Description : Plant Head Tube Mills Kenya Experience : 15+ Years Education : Mechanical Engineer Job Description : - Monitor and improve efficiency, output, and safety of manufacturing processes through observations and measurements as well as by collecting and interpreting data from other technical and operating personnel. - Work closely with outside contractors and manufacturing personnel on coordinating the installation of new equipment and other manufacturing projects. - Responsible for the implementation of new equipment and processes and meeting specified timelines and budgets that pertain to such. - Provide direction and support personnel in the implementation of manufacturing projects. - Provide back - up support as needed to the Production Manager and the Production Supervisor. - Directs the work of the maintenance workers to ensure accurate and timely performance of assigned tasks. - Responsible for the recommendations in selection of manufacturing equipment and carries significant weight in making purchasing decisions in this regard. - Will be responsible for Inventory Management
