Job Description : PLASTIC FACTORY MANAGER KENYA The job will involve among other responsibilities the following: a) Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers' expectations. b) Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintain high quality standards. c) Be responsible for production output and product quality to ensure attainment of customer service KPIs including on time and accurate delivery, order fill rate, production schedule attainment, etc. d) Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results. e) Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions. f) Share a trusting relationship with employees and recruit, manage and develop plant staff in a manner consistent with the culture of the company. g) Treat staff fairly, with respect and encouraged to make a difference in meeting and exceeding customer expectations through creating an environment that supports productive employee relations, encourages employee communications and feedback. h) Collect and analyse data to eliminate places of waste or overtime. i) Commit to plant safety procedures to ensure execution of sound safety programs to achieve zero injuries. j) Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets. k) Address employees' issues or grievances. l) Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts. m) Perform such other functions as assigned by the Board from time to time. Required Candidate profile a) Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from a recognized University; b) Proven work experience as a plant manager; c) Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources); d) Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise; e) Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship processes; and f) International working experience will be an added advantage.
