Job Description : FINANCE MANAGER DRC Expatriation Position: Based 100% in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo-Central Africa. We are looking for a Finance Manager to be responsible for analyzing every day financial activities and provide advice and guidance to upper management on future financial plans. You have full understanding of the way an organization and a finance department operates to meet its objectives. You must be well-versed in all aspects of finance and accounting, be an excellent team builder since all relative services of the organization will be under his command. You should coordinate and supervise the entire team in Congo, ensure the proper management of all company resources, ensure the fairness, reliability and regularity of the accounts and financial statements produced. You have ability to understand the viewpoint of higher management and effectively analyse complex problems, to quickly master new technical and business knowledge, can take quick and approximate actions in varied management situations, this job is for you. You will directly report to the Group CFO. In this role, you will serve as a referent and a leader, to advice people and provide thoughtful, progressive and strategic guidance. Key Responsibilities: Management/Advisory / Overseer 1. Carrying out the daily tasks of the finance department, 2. Preparing and interpreting Management and Financial reports, 3. Preparing budgets and performing budgetary control & Tax Planning, 4. Safeguarding Company’s Assets & Liaising with Head Office on Importation and costing of inventory 5. People Management and Performance for success 6. Liaising with Audit team on conduct of audits 7. Banking and Working Capital Management Required Skills and Competencies: • Financial analysis& accounting techniques • Budget management & define and implement accounting procedures • Advanced Computer literacy, Software, MIS and MS office • Knowledge of accounting packages & data analysis and reporting • Fluent in English and French • Outstanding communication skills – verbal and written • Excellent interpersonal skills, highly organized & detail oriented • Good problem solving skills & excellent organization and leadership skills • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Accounting System applications • Positive attitudes, ability to multitasks &ability to work under pressure Required Qualifications and Experience: 1) Proven working experience as a Finance Manager 2) Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Accounting System applications 3) Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills 4) Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects 5) Diploma/BSc /MSC/MBA BA in Accounting, Finance or Management 6) Overall or Equivalent + 10 years of experience in Finance and Accounting 7) At least 5 Years worked as Manager in Finance 8) Experience supervising and developing staff, implementing strategies and systems 9) Experience working in African countries
