Chief Operating Officer

Job Description : Chief Operating Officer – Trading INDIA Providing strategic leadership to the company's Agro commodity international trading business preferably in the following commodity groups: Basmati & Non Basmati Rice - exports. Animal Feed Ingredients (Corn, Soybean meal, Rapeseed meal) - exports. Pulses (Chick Peas) - exports. Oilseeds - Peanuts / Sesame Assuming P&L responsibility to deliver an agreed post tax ROCE. Growing trade in the above agro-commodities at an agreed growth rate. Devising appropriate hedging strategies to mitigate price risk in those commodities which are traded on national and / or international commodity exchanges. Rationalising the commodity portfolio with the objective of building competencies and consolidating presence in a few select commodities. Building and mentoring a team of skilled commodity traders. Preferably PG in Commerce / Finance / International Trade 12 to 15 years in international trading of which at least 5 years as profit centre head of a medium to large international trading business.
