Operations Manager

Job Description : OPERATIONS MANAGER PHARMA FOR MAURITIUS a leading distributor of pharmaceutical products intended for pharmacies, individuals and hospitals in Madagascar. As a privileged partner of major international laboratories, the company offers the largest collection of pharmaceutical products and has a strong presence on all distribution channels on Malagasy territory. · The Pharmacist ensures compliance with the provisions of pharmaceutical regulations and the application of good distribution practices for the export of medicines. · The Pharmacist has authority over all the staff of the purchasing office for the development and compliance with the procedures for processing export orders as well as the prescriptions of the regulatory texts of the Profession. · The Pharmacist is responsible for setting up and maintaining quality assurance. · The Pharmacist trains the staff to respect the Group's ethical rules, the requirements and rules of the Pharmaceutical Laboratories and the Health and Safety rules. · Manage an export team by organizing, monitoring, and ensuring the daily work: · Ensure updates of product and supplier repositories. · Manage the flow of orders with suppliers · Control the supply circuits according to the Group's strategy and the regulatory Authorizations. · Distribute workloads between Europe/India/China procurement. · Ensure the follow-up of the orders in relation with the laboratories. · Respond to requests for information from laboratories. · Control and analyze supply indicators. · Synchronization of orders. · Sharing of supply indicators · Execution of action plans (order processing times / Computer System Update) · Follow-up of claims with suppliers · Monitoring and updating of supply contracts with laboratories · Negotiate and monitor commercial terms with suppliers · Identification and research of sources of supply adapted to the needs of the company in Madagascar · Knowledge of the activity of Pharmaceutical Distribution · Mastery of good purchasing practices · Knowledge of customs practices for export and import. · Languages : English / French
