15 yearsJob Description : DGM NIGERIA 1. ORGANIZATION MANAGEMENT Allocating Budget Resources Analyzing and Preparing Profit and Loss with proper MIS & Balance Sheet with the help of Dept. Head and the finance team. Suggesting new ideas for improvement, making Yearly Budget for each dept, with the respective Dept Head. Responsible for the utilization of resources and control of expenses to meet budgetary controls. Authorization matrix creation Delegate reasonable authority and responsibility to the team retaining accountability and ensuring proper supervision through review mechanism. KPI Management Strong operational experience with the ability to establish and measure KPI Define operational objectives for Preforms and Closure manufacturing monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annually. Planning Effective planning for raw material & packing material, manpower, material utilization Inventory management cost control, creativity, and innovation, customer service and delivery, documentation, logistics management, performance analysis, Quality management & Safety, MOST, etc. SOP Act as the supportive source of knowledge for all SOPs and internal policy document 2. SALES MANAGEMENT Planning and forecasting of sales activities to develop the business in conclusion with the management. To analyze the market for taking competitive and chalk out a plan to get maximum sales volume throughout PAN Nigeria. Drive sales concepts and improve revenue, maintain relationships with clients, enhance the organizations image, and meet overall growth objective 3. PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT Volume Preparation of annual production plan guidelines to drive the performance of key result areas on production activities and continuous implementation and monitoring. Quality Monitor and maintain the product and process quality. Development of new process of parameter for improvement in product quality. Interaction with customers regarding product quality and technical assistance. Safety Ensure that the workplace is monitored and is fully in compliance with all applicable OSHA & HACCP standards, rules, and regulations in order to maintain safety in manufacturing facilities. Ensure that Safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are maintained, and communicated to employees. Recommend control measures and advise on the standard of P.P.E. issued to employees. Carry out investigations into all accidents and near-miss incidents. Productivity Develop strategies to improve the day-to-day practice with the TPM. Improvement Review and improve organizational improvement equal to ISO 22000, 5S, Kaizen, and 6 Sigma. Plant & Machinery setup Engaged in building plans & designing to suit the production requirement. Machinery set up in injection molding, blow molding, water-filling lines, etc. Managing production and preventive maintenance of injection molding machines, and stretch blow molding machines (PET). Lead all activities like transformer set-up, electrical panels, cabling, pipelines (Water & Air), Chillers, etc. Managing utility operations for DG sets, air compressors, chillers, transformers, cooling towers, etc. Managing spare parts requirements, allocations, and periodic maintenance of plant machinery. Familiarity with the working of SACMI and Husky Preform molding machines is essential and experience in overseeing maintenance/installation of these machines would be an added advantage. 4. PROCUREMENT Bulky Goods Responsible for ongoing management of purchasing strategy and activity and for ensuring optimal supplier performance and price. Ensure that purchasing strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality, and delivery targets. 5. LOGISTICS Transport Oversee the cost-effective management of all outsourced transportation services consistent with budgeted levels of costs. 6. FINANCE MANAGEMENT Cost and risk control Frequently researches cost-saving opportunities, leading and monitoring all progress in capturing savings. 7. HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT Recruitment & Induction Ensure adherence to follow the SOPs & company policies. Letter of appointment & contract signing To be practiced based on the labour law Appraisal and training Ensure adherence to laid down SOPs & company policies, recommend training for team. Payroll process Ensure staff payroll is processed on time by HR, if payroll day confronts statutory holidays make sure that the employees have been paid ahead of a couple of days to avoid delay in salary payout. Promotion and Compensation Ensure that the promotion & compensation are carried out based on the policy of Group. Separation Process Harmonious exit adhering to company policy, labour law, and employment contract guideline 8. ADMINISTRATION Day-to-Day Work Monitoring the daily attendance, verifying that the employees are adhering to the companys uniform & ID policies Ensure that the premises are sanitized properly. Fleet management Regular checkups on the purchase of fuel, Repair, and maintenance of the vehicles. Ensure that the vehicles are clean and the drivers are groomed well and driving the vehicle as per the speed limits. File management Maintain the confidential files and make sure that is kept safe such as business agreements and lease agreements. Fixed Asset Management Ensure that the High-value fixed assets are recorded regularly and updated on time. Business Meeting arrangements Knowledge of leading and organizing the meetings, welcoming and addressing the guests, and hosting staff engagement programs. Home Management Adhere to applicable company guidelines and display a proactive approach to managing homes under the scope. APICS, CQE, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement and credentials preferred. Possess working knowledge of manufacturing techniques including Kaizen, Value stream mapping, Kanban, and visual management Masters or Bachelors degree, preferably in Plastic Technology, Manufacturing Engineering 15 years of plastic manufacturing industry experience, preferably for the last 5-7 years in a similar role in with overall factory leadership & management responsibility. Age bracket 45 to 50 years. Strong operational experience with the ability to establish and measure KPIs. Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail. Proven financial acumen. Experience in managing continuous improvement projects. Strong interpersonal skills, and excellent written and oral communication skills
