Job Description : Vice President - Projects Galvalume & Colour Coating Line TANZANIA · Job Responsible for Green field project of Continuous Galvalume Line ( Metal Coating line) · Up Coming Greenfield project for 4 Hi Mills & 6 Hi Cold Rolling Mill. Technical Skills Set :- · Cold Rolling Mill · Galvalume line · Accountable for the preparation of project cost & cost monitoring, finalisation of final line layout, coordination of civil activity, finalisation of contractors and approval of all types of drawings. · Instrumental in the finalisation of equipment specification & calling of quotations, vender development, planning of project activity & monitoring, civil shed erection, line commissioning, etc. · Implemented systems and procedures to facilitate smooth functioning of overall project execution and enhanced operational efficiency. · Structured project plans, schedule of activities, budget, & cost estimates, planned, procured, mobilized, and deployed resources to deliver the projects within defined time and costliness. · Provided on-site Management and quality control to ensure projects met time and budget requirements, and were built in accordance with contract documents. · Responsible for managing, planning, scoping, estimation, tracking & implementation of project plans within given deadlines and coordinated projects for set up facilities. · Monitored projects with respect to cost, resource deployment, inventory, time over-runs and quality compliance. Continuous Galvanizing :- · experience in project and mechanical maintenance of CGL include finalization of line layout, approval of drawings, vender development, need if change in design, Total installation from erection, commissioning to production. · Color Coating Line: Finalized the line layout and ordering of color coating line from WTIE (China), Capex approval. Possess of experience in old first color coating line prier to ordering new line from China. color coating line in Mechanical maintenance. Cold Rolling Mill :- · 18 yr experience in Projects of wider width 4Hi Mill and 4Hi Cold Rolling reversing Mill · Cold Rolling Complex Having 2 Nos. 4 Hi Mills, CR Skin pass Mill, HR SKINPASS MILL, ECL, ANNEALING, Galvanizing, Galvalume and Colour coating Line started production. CTL/ Slitter Lines & CTL also in production. 4Hi skin pass Mill · Finalisation of continuous Color Coating Line specifications and its auxiliary equipments, Initiated to start getting of offers and completion of project till final production. · Also Heading the Responsibility of Mech. Maint for Existing Color Coating Line Metal Coating Line :- · Experience in Continuous Metal Coating line (Galvalume line), converted existing CGL line in Metal Coating line · and was heading Greenfield project of Metal coating line start from shade erection, civil ECL: Developed the equipment of ECL line from existing ECL line, same was incorporate in line in Metal coating line which was converted into Metal Coating line in Spat Industries limited. The Metal coating line was in line ECL instead of normal degreasing section. · TLL, Slitting cum rewinding line, CTL: Good exposure in tension leveling line, slitting cum rewinding line and cut to length line. Of steel industries and copper industry. · Bell Annealing Furnace: Good experience in the maintenance of 23 base and 12 furnaces of Bell Annealing. Roll Forming and Roofing :- · experience in Roll forming and corrugation m/c, installation and commissioning and development of profile in Auto cad before ordering. · Monitoring & supervising finalization of requirements & estimates; interpreting contractual obligations & rights and evaluating technical / financial problems for reporting the same to the department / management · Developing project baselines, formulating & controlling project budget, Capex & OPEX administration and directing projects with respect to cost, resource deployment, time overruns & quality compliance · Spearheading on-site construction & engineering activities (installation, commissioning & erection) to ensure completion of project within time & cost parameters with effective resource utilization; providing technical inputs, reviewing designs & drawings and coordinating site management activities COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE:- · Well versed with MS Office, Windows 2000 and WindowsXP. · Working knowledge of SAP
