Job Description : Supply Chain Manager. Location: Africa, Middle East Exp: 10+ Yrs Education: BSc degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration or any other equivalent NP: Immediate to 30 Days Job brief:- We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to manage the company’s supply of products and services. Responsibilities include strategizing to find cost-effective deals and suppliers. The duty is to discover the best ways to cut procurement expenses, so that the company can invest in growth and people. Responsibilities:- 1. Devise and use fruitful Sourcing Strategies 2. Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms 3. Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services 4. Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries 5. Examine and test the existing contracts 6. Maintain proper procurement records properly 7. Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness 8. Engage, manage & track the Logistics part of the procurements made 9. Liasoning with Clearing Agents 10. Liasoing with Banks and Local Seguce Authorities for completing the Importation formalities 11. Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company 12. Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients 13. Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies 14. Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements 15. Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs Expected Skill Set:- 1. Proven working experience as a Procurement Manager, Procurement Officer or Head of Procurement. 2. Good Communication skills 3. Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market 4. Talent in negotiations and networking 5. Good knowledge of supplier or third party management software 6. Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers 7. Experience in collecting and analyzing data 8. Strong leadership capabilities 9. BSc degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration or any other equivalent 10. Knowledge in Polymer products, Cosmetics Chemicals and Food grade chemicals is must.
